A lot of action today, but unfortunately without any result. The wind was not as strong es it was forecasted, and the competition put on hold fairly early in the morning. The wind came up around noon, but too westerly, or almost WNW, so that the preferred course along the sandbar was unsailable. The race committee tried to set a course further out in the bay, but due to the low tide there was nowhere enough space to place the course safely. In the afternoon, with the upcoming water, the wind disappeared unfortunately, and competition was called of around 15:30 hours. The forecast for tomorrow should give us some more possibilies, and strong winds forecasted for Thursday. Fingers crossed !
