Since the plan is to increase the Slalom range to 8 models, James is off to Maui on the 10th of July to catch up and test the new slalom range with Phil McGain. The mission is to confirm that the improvements are, in fact just that. The new slalom offering is designed to ensure that riders have access to the perfect board size no matter what body type, weight, sail size or the wind conditions are for them or their region. It is expected that the new sizes will be registered and the first pre-orders ready for delivery in late September 2009.
Across to the Gorge
At the 2009 US Windsurfing National Championships, that will be held from July 23 – 26, 2009 at Hood River, OR, USA, the mission is to experience racing Gorge style, hopefully the Maui stint beforehand will have allowed James to tune up. It will also give sailors the chance to see and try some of next years board models and have any questions answered they may have.
…. last month, we splashed out and purchased a new head-cam, we are hoping that now the water conditions won’t be so cold that the lens will get wet, and that we will be able to see the new boards in action.
More to report soon.
